Capital Fundraising Group partnered with school leadership to re-design fundraising and enrollment procedures. Accomplishments included leading the school through its first Capital Campaign (from feasibility study to goal attainment), exceeding participation and goal projections for the annual fund, developing a framework major gifts, and surpassing expectations for enrollment goals. A Done in 45 front-loaded annual fund was institutionalized as a way to bolster giving over all constituencies.

Capital Fundraising Group established strategies and goals to enhance fundraising capacity by creating a deeper philanthropic culture and stronger relationships with key stakeholders as well as expanding the donor base through identification and acquisition. The result was a renewed development plan and implementation strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, values and capacity.
Focus on the Future Campaign
Pulaski, VA
Capital Fundraising Group worked with leadership of Focus on the Future—a grass roots organization in Pulaski County—to conduct a Feasibility Study to establish the viability and direction for multi-million dollar campaign to bring a Boys & Girls Club to the area. The study was an important first step in cultivating a group of key prospects and centering these potential donors around the mission and vision of the organization, and set the stage for a viable and successful capital campaign. According to Tina Martin, Focus on the Future CEO, “Capital Fundraising Group was instrumental in helping us uncover risks and potential roadblocks before we launched our campaign and served as an advocate for our organization. People are now talking about us, which was the goal!”
New Futures
Washington, DC
Working with Board and staff leadership, Capital Fundraising Group serves as fundraising counsel to New Futures, a non-profit organization in Washington DC. Services include formulation and implementation of development strategies supporting long term strategic organizational growth. Included in these services are initiatives identifying prospective funders and collaborators and engaging them in the New Futures mission, developing print and media communications content and spearheading event driven fundraising initiatives. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart

Capital Fundraising Group worked collaboratively with Stone Ridge School leadership and volunteer corps to raise $6M in one calendar year for the Gators Go Turf Campaign to overhaul school athletic and roads infrastructure. Despite this aggressive schedule, the campaign’s overwhelming success was heralded for its success in mobilizing the entire school community around philanthropy and the power of giving. Parallel to this effort, Capital Fundraising Group stepped in as interim Director of Development to provide development team leadership during a year-long staff reorganization. Milestones included launching the Done in 45 Annual Campaign, delivering unprecedented early fund success and helping Stone Ridge close the most successful fundraising year in the history of the school.
